Q: Could you tell us about kid2kid Club?

A: Working together with Kid2kid a non-profit organization certified for The President’s Volunteer Service Award , we offer a continues STEM program for our members. We will have once a month learning and lecturing from our adult and kids mentors to members. The topics range from but not limited to Game Series, Robotic Series, HTML5/JS Series and Coding series. We will also organize community services to help those who needs STEM knowledge and support.

Q: How to join the Kid2Kid Club?

A: Joining the Club is easy, simply click on the link here. The annual membership fee ( $150/12 months ) is due at your first activity with us. it pays towards any space rental, members events & speaker fee etc. The membership fee does not include any necessary robotic materials.

Q: How do I contribute to the Club?

A: We are looking for adult and kids volunteers to join the club for helping us to run the club. Please click on here to sign up for Volunteers. All your contributed time may record against The President’s Volunteer Service Award hours.

Q: What school age is appropriate for your class?

A: We recommend most of the classes are designed for 4th+ grade and above students. Game Series is designed for 4th grade and up. Robotic and Coding ng and HTML 5 Series are targeted for 6th+ grade and higher students with some computer experience.


Q: Is there a homework for each class?

A: Yes, at end of each session, we will have exercises to enforce knowledge students learned in the classes.

Q: Do you offer the private class?

A: Yes, we offer the private class for students who needs help with STEM projects or competitions.

Q: How do you teach the Robotic class that needs show and tell?

A: Our online class tool supports live Video feed, we will use the feature in the Robotic class.


Q: How do I contact you if I am running into any problem?

A: During class we will have time to troubleshoot your problems via Desktop control and sharing.  We will allocate extra time for each program if a student needs any help with lab or project. Offline, you can email or call us for any help or questions. We are also on the wechat to answer all your questions.


Q: What kind of computer configuration do I need?

Here are  high-level computer configurations we recommend. If it fits your budge, please get the last option if you can.

  • Windows 7 or newer
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 2 GHz dual-core processor
  • A nVidia or AMD graphics card with latest drivers. We recommend you avoid any hardware using Intel graphics chips due to their poor performance, stability, and feature set.

Really nice system requirements

You can get by fine without these, but if you can they’re nice to have.

  • Solid state drive (SSD) for OS and software
  • 64-bit edition of Windows 7 or newer
  • 4 GB of RAM or more
  • A large display or dual monitor setup
  • A nVidia or AMD graphics card with latest drivers, at least 512 MB of dedicated video memory and support for OpenGL 2.0+
  • A hi-speed broadband internet connection


Q: What if I miss a class?

A: We will try to rearrange or issue credit towards future classes. For online classes, we offer replay of missed the classes. Once you sign up the class, NO refund is issued unless we have to cancel the class.


Q: Is Registration Free?

A: We don’t charge anything util class registration meets minimum attendance ( 3 minimums most time ) . You will be confirmed class once we receive final payment from the student parents.


Q: Do you offer any trial class?

A: Periodically we will offer online or in- person demo of our classes. Please stay tuned for the information on this website and wechat channel.


Q: How do we attend your online class?

A: We are using Zoom to conduct our online live classes. All classes will be recorded so that students can replay classes Periodically we will offer online or in- person demo of our classes.


Q: How do I access the online class?

A: First you can go https://zoom.us/s/6608025119, one of main classroom to test the access to the online class. You will have to download Zoom to your PC, or Mac or iPad or iPhone to view the live online content.


Q: How many sessions for each class?

A: Most classes are ten sessions each. It ranges from 1 hr or 1 and half hr per sessions. Please refer to the class agenda  in details.


Q: How do I pay for the class?

A: Once your registration is confirmed, you will be received a confirmation email to ask you to pay the fee online.
